From Ethan, 2021 Choir Council Co-President: The end of last year’s choir council means the start of a new one! This year’s choir council had its first summer meeting last Monday to discuss how we will be adapting the choir program to start the new school year fully online!

Mr. Bryant featured some of the best shelter-in-place student projects, such as homemade instruments and recorded duets. Thanks to our teachers, parents, and admin for guiding us through this part of our lives, and working so hard to make us feel celebrated and loved during an unexpected situation! Throwback to the class of 2020’s middle school days – #firmusfam forever!
It was an EPIC day for Albany Middle and High School bands at this year’s Folsom Jazz Festival! All Albany music families and fans are super proud of all the students for their work. The results: 1st Place AHS Jazz Lab and Jazz Bands and 3rd Place for AMS! AND….finals for both AHS and AMS, too!
Students from Albany’s band and choir programs perform concerts ranging from the Superintendent’s Concert, a wide-ranging display of the music program’s scope in the AHS gym, to the AMS band’s “preview” of their CMEA repertoire for parents. Thank you for all the beautiful music!
